PokerStars just announced a summer poker tournament series to be held on an online platform. The tournament series will run throughout the states and will thoroughly appeal to more casual players with relatively bigger buy-ins.
The summer promotion held by the PokerStars is called Summer Stacks Festival. It will run as an independent series in three major states- Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
PokerStars tournament series will run in each state from 12th June 2021 to 28th June 2021. The Summer Stacks will commence with PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) which will also run in these three states.
The summer tournament will offer recreational players a variety of opportunities to try their gambling skills in online poker because of low buy-ins and convenient format. There are more than 100 online games planned for the tournament that feature a $100 buy-in or even less in each state and the tournament will also commence shorter events such as turbos. Additionally, players will also have the opportunity to participate in many events for free.
The guaranteed total prize pool in Michigan and Pennsylvania is up to $1 million each, the total Guaranteed prize in New Jersey is $500,000.
Summer Stacks Festival has a Main Event in the online poker game for each state. The Main Event will be a 2 days tournament that will consist of $100 buy-ins in each state and will start on 27th June 2021. The Main Event guaranteed prize pool for Michigan and Pennsylvania will be $100,000 each. The Summer Stack Festival offers a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000 in New Jersey.
